![]() The bartender leans over and says, "You know, a funny thing happened tonight. ![]() The third man hurries into the bar and begins to drink highballs. The customer goes outside and tells a friend how to get free drinks. The barkeep replies, "OK, if you say you paid, then I suppose you did." The second man rushes in, orders a couple beers, and later pulls the same stunt. The man goes outside and tells the first person he sees that the bartender can't keep track of whether his customers have paid or not. "OK," says the bartender, "if you say you paid, then I suppose you did." "Well my horse got stolen," the cowboy said thoughtfully, "I had to go and buy another one."Ī man walks into a a bar, drinks a couple of beers, and prepares to leave. Sir, please, could you tell me what was it that happened in Texas?" The tension could be felt in the air as nobody knew what was it that happened over there the time you were in Texas. "Sir," the guy says in haste, "you put everybody in the room in deep anxiety for whatever happened in Texas. As the cowboy walks outside and is climbing on his horse, a guy from the bar comes running to him. Farewell fellows."Įverybody in the bar sigh in relief. With the room still in silence, the cowboy steps back in and looks around with a face of satisfaction. He gets to the door, opens it and takes a step outside to check on his horse. The room gets quiet once again while the cowboy keeps walking towards the exit. Luckily, the cowboy comes out walking calmly and fixing his belt. The fear in that room grows so strong that nobody leaves his seat or wants to do it at all, not even to check if the horse is still outside or if anything happened with the cowboy. They get progressively more agitated each minute that passes. The cowboy is taking too long and everybody almost starts panicking and praying for whatever happened in Texas not to happen in there. The bartender certainly didn't know, and it seemed as if nobody had gotten any news yet of what happened in Texas the time the cowboy was there. Every single person in there starts talking among them and asking 'what was it that happened in Texas?' non-stop without getting an answer from anybody. Without uttering another word, the cowboy walks to the washing room and closes the door. When I come back, I will go check outside and, if my horse is not there, it will mean everything will have to be just as it was that time when I was in Texas. "Gentlemen," he says, "my horse is right outside and I need to go to perform my ablutions right now. All those present stop and stare at him silently. He proceeds to walk into the bar and, right after entering, pounds the floor with his foot 3 times. He gets off his horse and ties it to a pole right outside the establishment. The octopus replied, “Play it? After I figure out how to get the pajamas off her I’m gonna screw it!”Ī cowboy is riding his horse in a small town and decides to stop at a bar to wash the dust of the road off of him. The handler began to get nervous so he said to the octopus, “Hurry up and start playing the thing!” ![]() The octopus sat there eyeing the bagpipes up and down for quite a while. The man agreed and handed them to the octopus. The bartender said, “I’ll bet $100 that the octopus can’t play these bagpipes.” The bartender went into the back and brought out a set of bagpipes. After a minute or two, the octopus began playing a deep and soulful jazz solo. The octopus took it and stared for a bit. The man paid his handler $50 and sat down.Īnother man brought a saxophone to the octopus. There was no doubt that the octopus was an excellent guitar player. The octopus took the guitar, tuned it right up and began playing. One man pulled an old guitar off the wall that hadn’t been tuned in years and gave it to the octopus. He went up to the counter and bet everyone in the bar $50 that they couldn’t bring the octopus a musical instrument that it couldn’t play. A man walked into a bar with his pet octopus.
